Andy is unable to overcome the guilt in his heart and commits suicide by shooting himself in the head with his father’s rifle. enjoyed this book because it gives a really strong message to the reader.This book was written by Sharon M. Draper. Some of the other books she wrote include Forged by Fire, Darkness before Dawn, Double dutch and Copper Sun.
